Dawn Eden is author of The Thrill of the Chaste (2006), a guide for young adults on being counterculturally virtuous. Now in its eighth printing, the book has been translated into Spanish, Polish, and Chinese.
A graduate of New York University, Eden began her career as a music journalist in New York City, where she produced syndicated radio shows, directed publicity for concerts at the World Trade Center, penned musicians' biographies for major labels, and wrote for magazines such as People, Billboard, and Mojo.
She went on to work for New York City tabloids, as a copy editor and headline writer for the New York Post (winning the Associated Press's top award for the field in 2004) and then as deputy news editor for the Daily News. At the same time, she became a pro-life blogger (The Dawn Patrol), and contributed articles on politics and culture to the Wall Street Journal and National Review Online.
The popularity of The Thrill of the Chaste led Eden to move to Washington, D.C., to promote the culture of life through her work as a writer, editor, and speaker. She has been featured on NBC's "Today" and EWTN, and has spoken throughout North America, England, Ireland, Poland, and Australia.
